Information You Submit
Text entered into a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, is sent to the outside provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. A direct message contains only the details you decide to send, and we use that information to answer the message.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard server logs may record an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. Aggregate patterns help maintain the service and show which resources visitors use. Cookies or similar tools may also support basic analytics and advertising measurement where applicable.
How the Data Is Used
These limited data support site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and page updates. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Links to Other Websites
Links lead to Rohnert Park and Sonoma County offices, California portals, library collections, and outside search tools. Information submitted after following a link is controlled by that destination's privacy policy. The same applies to sponsored search results supplied by an outside company.
Who May Process the Data
Hosting and support providers process server logs for us. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Data may also be disclosed when valid legal process requires it, but visitor information is not otherwise shared.
How We Protect Your Data
An encrypted connection protects traffic in transit. Server logs are kept only as long as the uses described above require. Because the site has no visitor accounts, it stores no visitor password or account profile.
Users Under 18
The service is meant for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor submitted information so it can be deleted.
Your Data Rights
California residents may have access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. The Delete Act also created the state's DROP platform for deletion requests to registered data brokers, with broker processing scheduled to begin August 1, 2026. We can search our contact mailbox and server logs for a request made through the Contact page. Government records held by Rohnert Park, Sonoma County, or California offices remain outside our control, so correction or removal requests for those records must go to the custodian.
